Remove triangles from area

Use the Remove triangles from area (prepare > Post-Processing Tools > Tri-mesh tools > Removal) form to remove or cut triangles which are inside or outside an area. You can also trim surfaces and remove patches using the other removal tools.

  1. Select a model. A list of the available tri-meshes in the model is displayed.
  2. Select the tri-meshes to modify by checking the individual check boxes, or by right-clicking the list and making a selection from the context menu.

Inside/Outside  This controls whether the node removal will take place inside or outside the selected area.

    Area  Select an area.

  3. Click OK to remove or cut all nodes inside or outside the selected area.
